Standard mode supports files, messages, Smart Forms and E-Sign items together in the one exchange. Private mode adds browser-side encryption to supported file transfers, so Vukorix cannot read the contents of those files. Either way, the documents are stored in Sydney.

Standard encryption protects stored file content with AES-256-GCM using a Vukorix-managed key, and supports file transfer, the message thread, Smart Forms and E-Sign items in the same exchange.

Private mode

Add browser-side encryption for supported files.

Private mode encrypts supported file transfers in the browser before upload, so Vukorix stores encrypted data it cannot read. Messaging, Smart Forms and E-Sign items remain available through Standard mode.

Use Standard mode when the exchange includes messages, Smart Forms or E-Sign items. Use Private mode when supported file transfers need browser-side encryption. Private mode does not extend to messages, Smart Forms or E-Sign items, which always use Standard encryption.

What is Secure Exchange?

Secure Exchange lets you request files from a client and send documents back through the same organised exchange, so a matter stays in one place instead of across several email threads. Documents are stored in Sydney.

How is Secure Exchange different from Secure Receive?

Secure Receive is designed for collecting files from clients. Secure Exchange also lets your team send documents back, so the payslips a client uploads and the credit proposal you send in reply stay on the one file.

Can I use messages, Smart Forms and E-Sign?

Yes. Standard mode supports the message thread, Smart Forms and E-Sign items within the exchange.

What is Private mode in Secure Exchange?

Private mode adds browser-side encryption for supported file transfers, so Vukorix cannot read the contents of those files. Messaging, Smart Forms and E-Sign items use Standard mode.

What do I receive when the exchange is complete?

Vukorix provides a completion certificate and audit pack for the completed exchange, so the client file has a record of what was sent, what was received and when.
