Your documents, account data and uploads are stored in Australia. A small number of sub-processors work offshore, and sending them data is a cross-border disclosure under Australian Privacy Principle 8. Each one is named, with its purpose and location, in the Privacy Policy, and the Security page sets out how the architecture handles them.
The providers that host the service maintain recognised information-security certifications, such as ISO 27001. The Security page sets out our own controls in detail, and we will answer specific assurance questions directly if you are running a vendor assessment.
